Our Grandma Lowell was a very special matriarch who embodied gratitude, faith, love and humor. A memory that captured her personality well was when she would refer to each of her grandchildren as “her favorite.” It was funny because logically there could be only one favorite, but at the same time I think we all believed her when she called us that. It was special because it was true, we were all her favorite.

I have endless wonderful memories of my joyful, faithful, beautiful, inspirational grandmother, Elsie Naomi, but one of her more recent quotes really sticks with me - "Dare to be different, Amy." Thank you, Gramma, for always being true to yourself, and for encouraging others to do the same.

Beloved Elsie, We have so many great memories, like this time in Florida (picture). Elsie was so good to us. Always opening her home and willing to talk on any subject. She was full of suggestions on how to enjoy life. We will miss her, our last connection to a generation now gone.
