Obituary of Elsie J Livermore

Elsie J. Livermore, 86 of Jamestown, formerly of Sinclairville, passed away, Jan. 12, 2025.
Born Oct. 6, 1938 in Cassadaga a daughter of the late Horace and Carrie Green Joy.
She was formerly employed by Cassadaga Design as a general laborer and also with the NYS Agricultural Department as a grape inspector. Elsie also worked a variety of other jobs.
She was a member of the Laona Community Church former member of the Charlotte Center United Methodist Church and Sinclairville 76ers in charge of Meals on Wheels and also had served as Treasurer. In her earlier years she was involved in numerous clubs organizations and activities including Lakeshore Square Dancing.
Elsie enjoyed family functions and anything she could do that involved her children, grand and great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all!
Wife of 67 years to Perry "Lee" Livermore who she married Dec. 31, 1955 and who died Apr. 19, 2023; father of, Terry (Jim) Chamberlin and Luanne (Bill) Mosher all of Cherry Creek, Greg of Kennedy, Michael (Tammy) Livermore of Siler City, NC and Jonica (Steve) Conklin of Cattaraugus and the late Dana Patrick Livermore; grandma of Jaime (Chad) Swanson, Tammy (Rowdy) Chamberlin, Amanda (Carlos) Coto, Dana, Tyler (Rachael) and Eric (Alex) Conklin Billy II, John (Michelle), and Mark Mosher, Kelly (Matthew) Stives, David (Carmen), Joshua, Andrew (Amber) and Malachi Livermore along with several great-grandchildren; sister of, Denny (Grace) Ridout, Susan (Don) Josephson, Lynn Bowersox, Sam(Lyaine)Spaulding, Jan (Kevin) Spinler, Louis and the late Patricia and Paul Joy. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday 2-5pm in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Funeral service is private. Burial in Charlotte Center Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial to Sinclairville 76ers or Laona Community Church.
