Virginia L. "Ginny" Maloy, 95, of Sinclairville, went to her heavenly reward Oct. 10, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident. Born April 20, 1929 in Jamestown a daughter of the late Carl and Bernice Thoren Larson. She was a 1947 graduate of Falconer High School and furthered her education at Jamestown Business College. With her husband Leon, they owned and operated the Maloy Dairy Farm in Sinclairville. Ginny was a devoted member of the Sinclairville Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was the pianist and organist until 2022 and involved in various ministries, outreaches and committees including hosting the Men's Fellowship Breakfast in her home. She was a prayer warrior! Romans 8:28 Ginny was a former member of the Farm Bureau, Sinclairville 76ers and Sinclairville Senior Citizens. In her older years she became a passionate Bill's and Josh Allen fan. Her door was always open and many benefitted from the fresh daily baked bread along with other treats. Ginny enjoyed attending Sunday evening services at the Open Door Baptist Church. All things said, it was all about family and she loved her family with all of her heart. Wife of 61 years to the late Leon V. Maloy who she married Jan. 28, 1950 and who died Apr. 10, 2011; mother of Mary Lou (late Robert) King, Diane, Peggy, Douglas (Lori) and late Harold (Jennifer of FL) Maloy; grandmother of, Rhonda Pastor Pilarski, Dennis (Carleen) Pastor, Raynal Elderkin, Ginyse (Ray) Braddy, Rondee Boyland, Danyal Maloy Dahl, Harold H., Jr. and Aric Maloy, Douglas “Peanut”, Jennifer and Chad Jaquith, Amiti and Scott Maloy and the late Jeffery Hugh Pastor and William Eon Kinne; great-grandmother of 25 and great great-grandmother of 12; sister of the late Louise Ball and Marilyn Rowland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 1-4 p.m. in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday in the Sinclairville Baptist Church, 9 Park St., Sinclairville. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
