Obituary of Charles J Connelly

Charles J. "Chuck" Connelly, 47, of Erie PA, formerly of Cassadaga NY, passed away unexpectedly, Aug. 18, 2024. Charles was born Feb. 14, 1977 in Dunkirk NY. He was the son of Roger (Arlene) Connelly of Dewittville NY and Susan Feser (Alan) Parker of Florida. He graduated from Fredonia Central School in 1995 and SUNY Fredonia in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in English. Chuck's work career included Bush Industries in packaging, St Vincent's Hospital, Erie PA in surgical set-up department and most recently at the Dr Gertrude Barber Center Institution of Erie PA as a Resident Assistant. Chuck enjoyed walking, video games and comic books. Brother of Carrie Ghazaleh, Matthew (Amanda) Connelly, Kelly (Christina) Gordon and Mark (Erika) Gordon. Also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, Aug. 30, 3 P.M. at the Bemus Point Methodist Church, 4954 Bemus-Ellery Rd., Bemus Point NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Chuck's name to: University of Vermont Medical Center - McClure I.C.U., 111 Colchester Ave., Burlington, VT 05401. Services will be held Friday, August 30, at 3 p.m. at the Bemus Point Methodist Church followed by a light meal. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville NY.
