Obituary of Jeffrey N Fishgold

Jeffrey N. Fishgold, 40 of Cherry Creek, formerly Sinclairville, passed away Friday., Jan 19, 2024 at UPMC Hamot, as the result of a sudden illness. Born July 24, 1983 in Rochester a son of Margaret Fishgold Kearney and the late Louis Fishgold. Jeff received his CDL from Buffalo Tractor Trailer Institute and also attended Barber School. His vast work career included various occupations, including; driving milk tanker truck for Smith Brothers, owned and operated Fishgold Energy in Sinclairville, auto sales, owned and operated The Barr in Cherry Creek and was a NYS Licensed Security Officer, working at several locations throughout WNY. Jeff was a member of the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed time with his children and was active as a coach with their youth wrestling and football programs. He enjoyed weight training at various gyms in WNY. Former husband of 18 years, loving friend and mother of his children, Ivory Smith ("husband-in law" Adam Neubauer) Fishgold; father of Jeffrey A. (Abbey Carnes), Jacob (Miranda Olson) and Mikayla Fishgold; brother of Amy (Fred) Lassiter, Jamie (Camela) Fishgold and Julie (David) Lopez; loving son and brother in law of Diman T. (LouAnn) and Diman W. (Kim) Smith. Also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts including his God-mother Elizabeth Streb and countless friends including his best friend and God-father of his children Zachary "Hoppy" Hopkins and their God-mother Jessica Langworthy A celebration of life is being planned for Saturday, February 3rd with place and time to be announced.
