Brenda P. Austin, 59 of Cherry Creek, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023 at UPMC Chautauqua after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Feb. 20, 1964 in Ridgeway, PA a daughter of Ruth M. Mowrey Austin of Gerry and the late Frank E. Austin.
She was a 1982 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School and received her Associates Degree in Occupational Studies/Accounting/Business Administration from Jamestown Business College in 1990.
Brenda was employed at U & S Services, Falconer as a dispatcher retiring in 2022 due to her health. She was previously employed as a service writer for Shults Auto, Jamestown.
Partner of 40 years to Jay Stearns of Cherry Creek; sister of, David (Lynn) Austin of Sinclairville, James (Kim) and Larry Austin all of Gerry; aunt of Dakota and Zachary Austin, Layla (Mark) Carlson and LaToyia Knight. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are private. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
