Kendel J. Hebner, 75 of Panama City, FL., formerly of Sinclairville, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023. Born May 20, 1948 in Jamestown a son of the late Alvin and Florence Abers Hebner. He was a 1968 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. Kendel was a proud Veteran of the United States Army actively serving in the Vietnam Conflict from 1968-1970 and then Ft. Benning, GA until 1972. He was employed as a truck driver for S.M. Flickinger for 18 years and Prime Time Trucking from 1989 until retirement in 2014. He was a Life Member of the Sinclairville VFD. Kendel loved to golf. Husband of Sandra Valone Hebner of Panama City, FL and the late Carol J. Snow Hebner (May 18, 2005); father of, Wendy Newberry of Jamestown and the late Todd Hebner; brother of, Cindy Repine of Kennedy, Tina Mick of Dunkirk, Debbie (David) Barham and Donald (Carolyn) Hebner all of Sinclairville, Ray (Lori) of Panama, Steven (Sonja) of Bemus Point, William (Marge) of Staten Island and the late Charles and Johnny Hebner; step-father of, Lee Ann (Lori Clark) and Craig (Jackie) Terry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation 1:00 P.M. Saturday in Park United Methodist Church 49 Sinclair Dr., Sinclairville with funeral service commencing at 2:00 P.M. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Veteran honors provided by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 865, Jamestown. Memorials to VFW or American Legion Post of choice in Kendel's name.
