Jean Barber, 90 of Bemus Point, NY passed away May 22,2023 at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born May 12, 1933, in Jamestown, NY daughter of Charles and Georgia Liddicoat Lutgen.
Jean was a graduate of Bemus Point Central School. On September 4, 1954, Jean married her love, Harold Barber. Jean was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker to her husband and 5 children. She loved roller skating at Midway Park and country music. She will be deeply missed.
Jean is survived by her husband of over 68 years, Harold Barber, her children, James (Chrisanta) Barber, Debbie (Ed) Tomassini, Wayne (Lynn) Barber, Helen Barber and Mark (Julie) Barber, her grandchildren, Karen (Jason) Bower, Brian (Rhonda) Barber, Jessica (Jose) Varos, Jesse Barber, Megan (Aaron) Martin, Katherine Tomassini, Aaron (Ashley) Tommassini and Lane Tomassini, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and her sister, Linda Anderson.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be held Thursday May 25, 2023 from 4pm-7pm at Riccardi’s Jordan Funeral Home.
Funeral service to follow at the Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Claydon will officiate.
