Joseph W. Catanese, 80 of Sinclairville, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at home. Born April 6, 1943 in Jamestown a son of the late Joseph and Edna Parsons Catanese. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving with the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic. Joe was self-employed as an auto body/paint and repairman operating Pickard Wholesalers. He enjoyed hunting. Husband of 59 years to Linda Stanford Catanese who he married Aug. 10, 1963; father of Joseph, III (Tina), of Ellington, Richard (Phyllis) and Randy(Larissa) Catanese all of Sinclairville; grandfather of, Angelica (Chris) Himes, Joleene (Mathew) Helwig, Mikayla (Kyle) Pitts, Heather (Carl, Jr.) Hebner, Karri (Chris) Frank, Aiden Weber, Brandalee (Bryan), Richard, Jr., Amirah, Bryan (Amanda) and Emelia Catanese; great-grandfather of, Charlotte, Winston, Matthew, Gannon, Dominic, Axl, Levi, Ophelia, Skylar, Carl III, Macy, Bryan, Jr., Vaeda, Landon, Bentley, Randi and Delaney; brother of Richard (Cindy), John (Julie), Terry (Mitzi) and the late William(late Sally) Catanese.
