Tyler A. Olmstead, 28 of Sinclairville passed away Thursday, Feb 2, 2023 at Roswell Park after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 5, 1994 in Jamestown a son of Tim and Val Olmstead of Sinclairville.
He was a 2012 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.
Tyler has been employed at Nestle Purina for the past 7 years.
He loved golfing, watching football and was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan, hunting, fishing, camping(especially at Allegany State Park) and spending time with friends and family.
Fiancé' of Alyssa Brooks; father of Rylee Olmstead both of Sinclairville; brother of Brad (Jen) Olmstead of Silver Creek and Nikki Olmstead of Sinclairville and Zach Moore of Lakewood; nephew of Nancy (late favorite uncle "Knuckle" Tom) Wedemeyer of Dalton, GA.; uncle of Camden Tolman, Kaelyn and Logen Hayward, Vince, Dom and Leo Olmstead. Brother in-law of Montana, J.J., Coby Brooks and Chris Brooks Jr.; cousin of Erika Wedemeyer; special friend and family of, Dylan Runge, Dylan Caldwell, Tyler and Brady Simpson, Jon Roy, David Pisarcik, Cortney (Josh Tolman) and Jenn (Rick) Vahl, Brandon Walker, Kalynn Swanson, Kalee Halladay and Alyssa's dad and partner Chris (Shauna Buck) Brooks. Chloe and Trent Trask; Kayla Buck ; all of his Nestle Purina friends. Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville will begin at 2 pm Thursday and finish with a prayer service at 5 pm. A full obituary will be published in Tuesday's edition.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials can be given to Alyssa for their daughter's educational expenses.
