Elizabeth Tamblyn "Betty" Van Stone, 91 of Heritage Village went home to her heavenly reward, Friday, Dec. 9, 2022.
Born July 10, 1931 in Honesdale, PA, the daughter of the late William and Bessie Tamblyn Hicks.
She was a 1949 graduate of Honesdale High School and attended New York University.
Betty was employed as a medical secretary for various temporary care organizations including the Margaret Sanger Research Bureau.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Wife of 45 years to the late Rev. Dr. Raymond J. Van Stone who she married Jan. 11, 1968 and who died Sept. 4, 2013; sister of the late Edson, James and Margaret Hicks.
Graveside service 1 p.m. Monday in Gerry Cemetery.
