Obituary of Harold James Eccles

Please share a memory of Harold to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Harold James Eccles passed away at home on September 5, 2022, after a short illness. He was born on February 12, 1945, the son of the late John and Lois Eccles. Harold graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School in 1965 and lived in this area his whole life. He was a meat cutter and had a long career at Cisco in Falconer, NY. Survivors include his wife Cathy of Van Buren Point, son John (Brenda) Eccles, of Jamestown, daughter Barbara (Matthew) Jones of Missouri, stepdaughter Glenna Pastor of Sinclairville, Scott Rivers of Melbourne, Florida, and Tom (Marsha) Rivers, and thirteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Dixie Johnson and Art Anderson, both of Sinclairville, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by first wife, Autumn. Harold was a happy, easygoing person who liked to fish, grill steaks, walk his dog, and go for rides in the country. He was always up for a game of hot dice. He never missed a Bills game and enthusiastically cheered them on, winning or losing. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. with a celebration of Harold’s life to follow at Riccardi’s Jordan Funeral Home, 6 Parkway Drive, Sinclairville, on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
