Obituary of Arthea J Clark

Arthea J. Clark, 87 of Falconer, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Heritage Village, Gerry. Born Feb. 1, 1935 in Falconer a daughter of the late Arthur and Louise Schaefer Johnson. She attended Cassadaga Valley Central School. Arthea was a Certified Nurses Aid and had been employed at Jamestown Nursing Home, Hoyles Nursing Home, Lutheran Social Services and was also employed with Jamestown Manufacturing and National Worstered Mills. She retired in 1994. She was a member of Our Lady of Loretto R.C. Church and a former member of the Moose. Arthea enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles, playing Rummy, watching NASCAR and RFDTV along with collecting Teddy Bears and Nativity Scenes. Wife of the late Simon A. Russo who she married July 2, 1962 and who died May 12, 1982; Theodore C. Clark who she married Dec. 1, 1984 and who died Jan 24, 2011; mother of Brenda L. Berg of Jamestown, Catherine R. Gray of Clarence, Thomas S. (Kitty) Russo and Arthea "Teaa" (Doug) Russo-Brown all of Falconer; step-mother of, Stacey Zetterlund of Jamestown, Theodore C. (Stephanie) Clark of Kennedy, Lance T. Clark of Frewsburg, Page (Michael) Shields and Dennis (Karen) Clark all of FL and the late Corey Clark; grandmother of, Jesse McIntyre, Jessica Wilson, Heather (Greg) Hack, Christopher (Gina) Gray, Miranda Russo, Simon (Stephanie Berg) Russo and Eric Brown; step-grandmother of 11. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister of the late, Howard (Patricia of Gerry) Johnson, Edith (Edward of Falconer) Yagger and Rachel (late Edward) Tellinghuisen. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Thursday in Jordan funeral Home, Sinclairville with funeral service 11 a.m. Friday. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials to Heritage Village or Kennedy VFD.
