Obituary of Lyle G Nyhart

Lyle G. Nyhart, 93 of Cassadaga, passed away Wed. June 1, 2022 at home. Born May 30, 1929 in Laona a son of the late Clarence and Alberta Straight Nyhart. A Chautauqua County resident all his life he attended Cassadaga Schools. He was a self-employed farmer for 20 years retiring in 1977. Lyle was also a 40 year employee of Dunkirk Ice Cream retiring in 1997 from maintenance. Husband of the late Laura Bender Nyhart who he married June 3, 1950 and who died in 1992; father of Warren Nyhart of Fredonia Linda Jones, and Penny Nyhart both of Cassadaga; grandfather of, Lisa (John) Monn of Stockton, Bradley Jones ,Jessica and Sarah( Paul Arnold) Nyhart all of Cassadaga; great grandfather of, Tucker Arnold; brother of Demaris (Jim) Steger of Fredonia and the late June Ball, and Lee Nyhart. Also survived by nieces and Nephews. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Sunday. Burial in Christian Meeting House Cemetery.
