Obituary of David E Briggs Jr

David E. Briggs, Jr., 66 of Stockton passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. Born Jan. 9, 1956 in Jamestown a son of the late David E. and Jeanette Chelton Briggs. He was a 1974 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. David was employed as a truck driver for various companies including, Briggs Dairy, Dunkirk Ice Cream, Falconer Glass, Aim Leasing and retired in 2012, for medical reasons, from N.A.C.O. He was a Life Member of the Stockton Volunteer Fire Department, was an EMT and had held various offices including a seat on the Board of Directors. David was a Buffalo Bills fan and also enjoyed watching westerns, time with his grandchildren which included teaching them math by playing poker. Husband of 46 years to Nancy Pattie Briggs who he married Oct. 25, 1975; Father of, Jennifer (Tony) Agro of Lockport, Kristin (Jarod) White and Kimberly Briggs all of Stockton; grandfather of Merrick, Kolton and Carter Samuelson and Jackson David Agro; brother of Debbie (Tom) Caruso of Panama, Cindy (Bill) Loftus of Jamestown, Brenda (Ted) Cline of Casa Grande, AZ and the late Melissa Briggs. Also survived by nieces, nephews and his close friend Louis Loveless who he lived vicariously through with his travels. A celebration of life will be announced in the summer.
