Obituary of Gary C Risley

Gary C. Risley, 64 of Sinclairville, passed away Saturday, Dec 18, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. Born Nov. 28, 1957 in Jamestown a son of John and the late Joan Doss Risley of Gerry. He was a 1975 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. Employed in construction his entire work career, for over 20 years with the Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities, over 20 years with Suit-Kote and presently with Legends Excavating. Gary was a member of the Ellington Rod and Gun, Classic Chevy Club, and Lake Effect Trailbreakers. Gary was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres and New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed life, "glamping”, traveling, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, entertaining friends at "The Palace" treating them to refreshments from his slushy machine. Husband of 37 years to Nancy Morley Risley who he married May 12, 1984; father of Christopher Risley of Sinclairville and Ashley (Corry) Kaltenbach of Ellington; grandfather of, Garrison and Brennan Risley, Haven, Hunter and Harlee Kaltenbach, Kenley and Brooklyn Wood; brother of Mark (Linda) Risley of Sinclairville, John Risley II of Gerry, Sally(Rich) Zahm of Cherry Creek and the late Wendy Jo Risley. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation 3-7 Wednesday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday in Park United Methodist Church, 49 Sinclair Dr., Sinclairville.
