Obituary of Sue S Taylor

Sue S. Taylor, 82 of Sheridan, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026. Born Nov. 15, 1943 in Dunkirk a daughter of the late Walter and Grace Goldhart Schultz. She was a 1961 graduate of Dunkirk High School. Sue served as Town of Sheridan Court Clerk from 1982-2017 and in 2004 was honored as New York State Court Clerk of the Year. She also was an instrumental member of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus County Court Clerk Assn. Sue enjoyed arranging and participating in educational events for the organization. Sue was also the former long time treasurer of the Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Assn. She enjoyed time with family, especially her grandchildren. Wife of 61 years to Thomas H. Taylor who she married Jan. 9, 1965; mother of Scott (Betty) of Firestone, CO, Paul (Deb) of Aiken, SC, Mark (Krista) of Fredonia and James (Amanda) Taylor of Charleston, SC; grandmother of, Jeremy, Jessica (Jacob) Guididas, Jillian, Jackson, Kyra, Mckenna, Haylie and Jameson Taylor; great-grandmother of William Guididas; sister of the late Sally (Late Raymond) Bulger; aunt of Alan and Jeffrey (Ginger) Bulger.
