Obituary of Dennis Thomas Sr.

Born on February 24, 1952, in Newark, New Jersey, Dennis Thomas Sr. lived a life defined by love for his family. He passed away peacefully in his home of 43 years on January 20, 2026, in Sinclairville, New York, at the age of 73—a place filled with loved ones, memories, and a life well lived. Dennis was the beloved husband of Tammie (Tanya) and a proud father to Anne, Dennis Jr., and Sarah. He was a devoted grandfather to Camden, who brought him immense joy. A man of few words, Dennis didn’t need many—his presence spoke for itself. Known as Big Denny to those who knew him best, his warmth came through in good-natured teasing and the nostalgic stories of his childhood. Denny worked as a Parts Manager for Ford and was everyone’s go-to car guy, always willing to help and happy to do you a favor. Outside of work, his passions included playing the trumpet, as well as building and flying model airplanes Above all else, Denny loved his family. A protector in every sense, he would do anything for those he loved. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped, the laughter he shared, and the stories he told. Denny is survived by his wife, Tammie; his children, Anne, Dennis Jr., and Sarah; his grandson, Camden; and his sister, Carol Bowers. A service to celebrate Denny’s life will be held in the spring.
