Obituary of Robert E Runge

Robert E. Runge, 61, of Sinclairville passed away on Monday December 15, 2025 at UPMC Chautauqua. Born on November 26, 1964 to the late Robert and Delores Runge in Jamestown, NY. He was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. Robert was a hard worker and worked in construction for most of his life at Smith’s Insulation for15+years, at COI for 20+ years and finally at CHRIC for 5 years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved watching games. Most of all, he was known as a loyal and caring man, one who wouldn't hesitate to help out others. He had a sense of humor, his smile and laugh will surely be missed at family gatherings or the local superette. Robert met his wife Brenda Runge while attending Cassadaga High School and they had shared many wonderful years together while raising their son Eric. Robert is survived by his significant other Mary Rivera; his son Eric Runge; brother Jason Runge; sisters Carol Wright, Kathhryn Smith and Cindy Peters; a grandson Noah Runge and step grandchildren Camdon, Kaleb, Jack and Emmett Rivera as well as devoted caretakers nephew Josh and Stephanie Runge along with several other nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Runge and his granddaughter Madison Runge. A visitation will be held on Friday December 19, 2025 at the Jordan Funeral Home from 11AM-1PM with a funeral service to be held 1PM at the funeral home. Pastor Randy LeBaron will be officiating the funeral service. In lieu of flowers send donations to Sinclairville Fire Hall
