Obituary of Sharon L Palmer

Sharon L. Palmer, 77, beloved wife, mom, grandma and friend, of Stockton, passed away
peacefully on Oct. 20, 2025, surrounded by family at home. Sharon had one last
sleepover with her daughter and granddaughters on her final night.
She was born Aug. 22, 1948 in Salamanca to Gerald Francis and Elinor Mae Merchant
Boardman.
Sharon was special to many people that crossed her path. She was a 4-H leader for
Stockton Sharpshooters, an avid bowler and Bills fan. Sharon loved to sew, garden, bake
and there was always room at the table for coffee and pie.
She was a beautician, fulltime homemaker, wife, mother and her biggest joy was
devoting time to her grand and great-grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gale Palmer; her daughter, Tracie (Jason)
Siragusa; grandchildren, Chelsey (Brian) Hanner, Cortney (Rich Grant) Tomsick and
Heather (Zach) Nykula; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Hanner, Brant Pagan, Owen,
Trevor and Blakelynn Nykula, Lennox and Bristol Grant; sister Janice (late Leland)
Johnson; brothers, Butch, Buck, Roger and Norm (Charmain) Boardman as well as
several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday at1 pm at Stockton Volunteer Fire Hall, 28
Stockton-Kimball Stand Rd., Stockton. A private burial will take place in Greenwood
Cemetery, Stockton.
