Kenneth G. Waite, 90 of Cassadaga, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2025. Born July 30, 1935 in the Town of Charlotte, a son of the late Gerald and Catherine Bulger Waite. He was a 1953 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. Ken was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1957-1959. He was employed for over 35 years as a truck driver for Dewitt Concrete, Dunkirk, retiring in 1996. Ken was a member of the Teamsters Local 264, Cassadaga Memorial American Legion Post #1280, Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department and former member of the Cassadaga Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, gardening (especially roses), feeding and watching birds, spending time in the sun, spending winters in Florida and treasured his time with family. Husband of 63 years to Janice Kubasik Waite, who he married June 23, 1962; father of John (Kirsten) of Midlothian, VA, Keith (Shelly) Waite and Sherri (Tim) Lancaster all of Cassadaga; grandfather of, Jacob and Michael (Miranda) Lancaster, Brittany (Jake) Berger, Julia, Adam and Anna Waite; great-grandfather of Noelle Lancaster; brother of, Jerry (late Diane), Donald (Sue) Waite and the late Arlene (late Gordon) Josephson, Dolores (late John) Fessenden and Larry Waite. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 9th at 11am at Cassadaga Cemetery with a reception at the Cassadaga Memorial American Legion.
