Obituary of Dennis A Kelley

Dennis Alan Kelley, 68, of Jamestown, passed away on August 1, following a long illness. He was born in October of 1956 to parents Nona Marleen Putnam and James Clarence Kelley in Dunkirk, NY. Dennis graduated from Cassadaga High School in 1974 and received his Bachelor's Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He went on to work as a mechanical engineer at Heidenhain (formerly Acu-Rite) for 45 years. Dennis is survived by his brother, Keith Kelley (Mary); his daughters Colleen M. Finley (John) and Amanda F. Kelley (Ryan); the mother of his children, Elisabeth DeRosa; and grandchildren Izzy, John, Brendon, Theodore, and Cora. He was predeceased by his parents, Nona and James. Dennis loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed activities like cycling, running, and kayaking with his friends. Music deeply influenced his life and he shared this love with friends and his daughters.
