James W. Hendrickson, 83, of Sinclairville, passed away unexpectedly July 5, 2025 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 2, 1941 in Sheridan he is the son of the late Merle and Gracia DeGolier Hendrickson. Jim was a truck driver for over 40 years. His career included employment with Larry Waite, Ohio Fast Freight and Detroit-Pittsburgh Motor Freight, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the Sinclairville Senior Citizens and attended South Stockton Wayside Chapel. Jim was mechanically inclined and loved fixing cars and tinkering in his garage at home. Husband of 63 years to Carolyn Haskell Hendrickson, who he married Sept. 2, 1964; father of James W. "Jimmy", Jr. of Forestville and Dennis Hendrickson of SC and the late Brenda Runge; grandfather of Melinda and Jamie Hendrickson, Eric Runge and Amanda (Cassidy) Hunt; great-grandfather of Noah Runge, Layla Dustin and the late Ashlyn Hendrickson and Madison Runge; brother of, David (Marianna) Hendrickson, Shirley (Jack) Olrogg, Pat Kingsbury and the late Bill Hendrickson and Mary Culver; father in law of Rob Runge of Sinclairville. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 4-7 pm in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am. Burial in Union Cemetery, Stockton.
