I met Mabel in 1985 when I went to work as church secretary at Immanuel Lutheran Church. If Mabel didn't come sit in the office with me to chat, I would go down to her office to chat. She was an awesome woman - so kind and funny. Rest in peace, Mabel.

Hello Hugh and family, We remember Mabel well. We are thankful for the ministry you and your parents have spent lifetimes serving people. Rudy and Hannah helped to pull us together. Mable and your whole outreach and self-sacrifice to those in need has sustained hundreds of people over the years. Our paths in life have led us in different directions but we continue to be with you and your family. I always rmember your Mom having a smile on her face. Well do, good and faithful servant. Godspeed. Sandra and Don Sandy

Aunt Mable was an important part of our family. She will be missed. I have many fond memories of her, and she brought our family together in so many ways. I lost count of the number of years she brought her Christmas candies to my mom for all of us to enjoy. I will cherish the memories of her. God bless her.

My heart hurts thinking of this world without my Aunt Mabel. She was one of my favorite people and I will miss her very much. She was always up for an adventure, whether it be a hockey game, a dinner show, a live play, or an hours long card game. I will always cherish the many memories I have of her. I am so glad we were able to get all the sisters (hers and mine) together not too long ago. I send hugs and condolences to her family. She was truly special.
