Alice I. Wilson, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend peacefully departed this life on April 21, 2025, at the age of 96.
Born, Jan. 14, 1929 in Jamestown a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Christy White. Alice was a 1948 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.
A Town of Arkwright resident most of her life, she leaves an enduring legacy within her family and community. She was a full-time wife, mother and homemaker. Alice treasured the values of family, faith, and camaraderie among dear friends. A talented musician, she found joy in playing the organ and reveling in "good old-fashioned music," alongside her love for square dancing. Renowned for her gift of conversation and storytelling, Alice possessed a unique ability to form familial bonds and connect deeply with individuals from all walks of life. And what we wouldn't do for one last slice of her apple pie.
Alice was the wife of 63 years to the late Fred H. Wilson, who she married June 23, 1946, and who died May 20, 2009, devoted mother of, Pricilla (Larry) Phillips of North Fort Meyers Beach, FL, Nadine Wilson of Rockland, ME, Natalie (Larry) Ball of Arkwright and the late Walter Wilson; loving grandmother of 12 including the late Adam Phillips and eight great-grandchildren; sister of the late Eunice Kocur. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation 1 pm Friday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville with funeral service at 2 pm in the funeral home. Burial in Burnham Hollow Cemetery.
